CHARACTERS I’D WANT AT MY HOLIDAY PARTY \\ in a theoretical situation where this introvert would throw a party

Hello!

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and my family doesn’t do much to celebrate.

We already have a few Christmas\winter decorations going up, and we have the Grandparents coming for a meal, but we try to keep it casual.

Technically, “characters I’d want at friendsgiving” is the Top 5 Wednesday theme for today, but the word “friendsgiving” annoys me ๐Ÿ˜‚*. So let’s skip to the holidays.

*Plus I know that Thanksgiving isn’t something that everyone celebrates, but most of us have a holiday coming up, so this is applicable to everyone

Percy Jackson & Annabeth Chase

Yes, I’m counting them together. And I’m sure you knew this was coming.

Of course I’d want Percy and Annabeth there! I feel like I’ve known them forever, anyways…that’s what happens when you read a series when you’re ten and then never stop.

I’d just have to be sure to make blue food of some sort.

Carswell Thorne & Nikolai Lantsov

They’re from two different books (The Lunar Chronicles and The Grisha Trilogy, respectively) but they have very similar personalities. One’s a Captain, one’s a Privateer, they’re both strategic and sassy…they could be the same person tbh.

Everyone knows they’re the life of the party! Imagine the type of stories they’d have to tell! They also might steal something but that’s a risk I’m willing to take.

Starr Carter & Simon Spier

The only two contemporary characters I don’t despise.

I also think Starr, Simon and I would get along. And is definitely not just because I’d love to meet Starr. Starr’s so badass tbh. And Simon is such a sweet little Hufflepuff.

Plus I’ve only had fantasy characters so far and I’d like to have people who I can relate to?

now I really want to rewatch this movie

Who would you invite to a holiday party?
