The Love, Simon trailer has finally come out!

For those of you who don’t know, Love, Simon is a film coming out in 2018 that is based off of the YA novel Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. It’s about Simon Spier, a not-yet-out gay high school student, and how he manages that along with his emails to his pen pal Blue.

Everything, Everything | Movie Review

I got to see Everything, Everything with my friend Tyr this past weekend, which is good because I was about to steal it from someone

I’ve been looking forward to this movies for a long time, for two reasons:

One: I really enjoyed the book! I liked the characters, and the drawings on the inside, and how most of it took place through texts.

Two: Both Amandla Stenberg and Nick Robinson will be in upcoming Book-to-Films (more on that later) so I was interested in their acting style.

Anne with an “E” | Show Review

Anne with an “E” is a Netflix adaption of the classic, Anne of Green Gables by L. M. Montgomery.

I loved this book when I was younger – the best parts about it were Anne (who is so wonderfully creative and fanciful), her friendship with Diana, and the lightheartedness of the story, even though it had a darker background.

 

Since I love this series so much, I decided to watch this show…I will tell you up front, while I liked it (for the most part) it’s definitely a hit-or-miss adaption.
